Picking up tickets JR West

I’m having issues picking up train tickets that were booked through the JR West website.

The instructions say go to the machine and put your card in that you paid with…I’m doing that and it says no reservation 😭

I’ve tried all the different options on the machine but nothing seems to work.

My credit card doesn’t have numbers printed on it (I’m from the UK and this is increasingly common, it’s a security feature). You would have thought this would not be a problem as swiping the card would still reveal the number, in theory. Unsure if this is the problem.

I spoke to someone at a ticket office and they didn’t really understand – they suggested I refund online and then rebuy the tickets. That’s fine, but there is a small cost for that and I’ve got more reservations still to pickup…
