Hello. I’ve tried researching this and most of the answers I find have to do with layovers or connecting flights. My friends and I are going to Japan soon, and I’m trying to work on some of the itinerary. We’ll be landing in Tokyo and staying there for roughly a week, and then after that, briefly spending a little bit of time in Okinawa before going to Kyoto.
My question is, will we need to clear customs again when flying to and then back from Okinawa and so need to be even extra early to the airport, or will we not have to worry about customs again until we leave the country, since it’s a domestic flight?
