Itinerary Check for June 4-8th – Imperial Palace, Baseball and Mt. Fuji

My partner and I will be visiting Tokyo together for the first time from June 4th to 8th for five days, four nights. We’ll be in Busan with family. They’re planning to go to Jeju and we will be visiting Tokyo. We’re planning to meet up with them in Seoul on the 8th.

Our main goal of this trip is to get a feel for Japan. We want to experience the culture, see some sights, and enjoy Japanese cuisine.

Day 1, depart PUS, arrive in NRT. Take public transit to Akihabara where we want to stay around as it’s central to neighborhoods and areas we want to visit. Get settled in, then walk around the surrounding area, find somewhere to eat, shop a little, and call it a day.

Day 2, we want to catch a Nippon Professional Baseball game at the Tokyo Dome where the Giants will be playing Lotte. We plan to walk there from our hotel, while making stops along the way there. After the game, we’ll head to Shinjuku City, check out the sites and grab dinner.

Day 3, we want to check out the Imperial Palace, see some art and appreciate what Chiyoda City has to offer. After that, we’ll rest, plan some stops, then make our way to Shibuya. We’ll take public transit there. We plan to have dinner there, experience what Shibuya is all about.

Day 4, we want to do an all-day trip to Mt. Fuji.

Day 5, depart NRT, arrive in ICN.

We haven’t flushed out all the details and stops. We’d like to check out a Pokémon Center, a stationary store, an eyewear store, and some clothing stores. We’re not big foodies, however, we’d like to dine at a Gyukatsu Motomura if it’s along the way. For the Day 4 trip to Mt. Fuji, we plan to just book a tour. How does our overall plans look? Any suggestions/tips?
