More matches, challenges and feuds were revealed for the upcoming shows.
TMDK will be challenging GoD for the Strong belts in Chicago. ELP joked about having some form of a double cage ladder match. Not sure how seriously we should take that.
Takagi has challenged for EVIL’s NEVER championship for Sakura Genesis
SHO returned but was refusing to give YOH his title shot. YOH is still in possession of the belt so that match is also likely for Sakura Genesis. It could be on the Taiwan show as they are both prominently promoted on the poster.
There will be a 1 night tournament for the 6-man belts on that show, no teams have been announced.
Umino stated he will be bringing someone to help deal with HOT at Sakura Genesis. This could be Suzuki as he would likely be teaming with Despy and getting revenge on Narita. More likely Moxley and other members of the BCC as a way to promote Windy City Riot a week after.
On Twitter Akira had stated that the Intergalactic Jet Setters HD challenged the War Dogs for Sakura Genesis but he wants in on that match as well.
It is likely Bishamon will be challenging for the tag belts but I guess they wanted to wait for Goto to compete in the final. There is also potential that Yoshi-Hashi challenges for KENTA’s Defy championship.
Also, Loa will be challenging O-Khan, likely for a road to show.
No updates on if Nemeth will have a new opponent after Tanahashi postponed and no mention of Riddle and the TV champion either.
We also haven’t had any update on who Kingston’s or Kidd’s teammates will be in Chicago. For Kidd it will likely be Moloney, Connors and Finlay with KENTA and Chase being the alternatives. I predict Eddie will ally himself with Ishii but not sure on his teammates.
