Are there Japanese parents who send their kids to school or all of the kids/students go to school by themselves like walking, by bus or by train?

Asking coz I’m just curious. Every time I watch Japanese movies/series with school theme or school scene, the students always go to school either walking, by bus or train. I’ve never seen the scene where the parents send their kids to school.

I hope someone can answer my question.
