Not going to comment on any sort of backstage drama.
I feel like Jack is finally starting to get “it” since he debuted in NJPW and joined House of Torture. Jungle Boy was a entertaining enough wrestler when I watched him in AEW but always thought he was a tad bland (Christian stuff aside) and even when he turned heel over in AEW, I never thought he was a convincing promo.
But his NJPW work has been pretty good so far. I’ve been liking the matches, the backstage promos have been pretty good. Now when he’s talking it feels like it comes off more real than “I’m acting in a promo now”. I feel like he as a performer is starting to get a little seasoning and I kinda want him to stay there for a while. It’s like a Young Lion excursion.
