Place 1 packet in 600ml (3 cups) of water and place on high heat uncovered until boiling. Turn down heat to medium and let simmer for 3 to 5 minutes. Turn off heat and remove packet while lightly straining out any broth remaining in packet.
For miso soup: 600ml water per packet
For noodle broth: 350ml water
For stews: 600ml
For oden or nabe: 350ml
I’d use a translator app, like Microsoft’s
Thank you all.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Boil 3-5 minutes then eat
Once brewed, do you add mirin, soy, etc. to the stock?
It’s a Dashi (Soup Stock) including 8 pouches.
You can use this for wide range of recipes.
Miso Soup, Dipping Sauce for Soba (buckwheat) noodle or Sauce for Udon noodle, Hot Pod, Fried Rice, Fried Noodle, etc.
