Need help with these instructions. I bought this and have no idea what it supposed to taste like or how to use.

  1. Place 1 packet in 600ml (3 cups) of water and place on high heat uncovered until boiling. Turn down heat to medium and let simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
    Turn off heat and remove packet while lightly straining out any broth remaining in packet.

    For miso soup: 600ml water per packet

    For noodle broth: 350ml water

    For stews: 600ml

    For oden or nabe: 350ml

  2. It’s a Dashi (Soup Stock) including 8 pouches.

    You can use this for wide range of recipes.

    Miso Soup, Dipping Sauce for Soba (buckwheat) noodle or Sauce for Udon noodle, Hot Pod, Fried Rice, Fried Noodle, etc.

    Miso Soup needs Dashi for more authentic taste.
