We are travelling Tokyo-Kyoto on the first Shinkansen and will arrive at Kyoto station around 8am. We are shipping our luggage from Tokyo to our hotel so when arriving at Kyoto, we will be ready for sightseeing.
We thought about visiting Higashi Hongan-ji as it’s an easy walk from Kyoto station and there would be very little crowd. We are staying for 7 days and in no rush to do the popular attractions which we would prefer to do in the early mornings. Any suggestion where to head next? Or maybe something else than Higashi Hongan-ji? Something easy travel without crazy crowd.
