Hi, so my work contract ends on March 31st and I’m moving back home permanently. I know I gotta inform immigration about the contract ending within 14 days. I’m traveling internationally from April 2nd to the 17th and then returning to Japan to catch my flight back home. Should I just tell immigration within the 14 days that I’m leaving the country permanently on the 17th or just tell them im looking for a job and inform them later when I comeback on the 17th? Just wanna make sure I won’t have issues coming back to catch my flight. Thank you for any help offered, I appreciate it 🙂
