Hello! I’ve been studying haiku for a few years. Recently I decided it would be nice to learn Japanese vocab to get a rough idea of some translations I’m familiar with. Eventually I’d like to try to translate some of my own English haiku into Japanese too.
I’m looking for haiku (or tanka, haibun, senryu, etc) books which have original Japanese characters (hiragana/katagana and/or kanji) with both transliterations and an English translation. I plan to also use a comprehensive Japanese to English dictionary, recommendations for one are also welcome 🙂
