Has anybody done this village as a day trip from Kyoto?
I really wanted to visit Shirakawa Go but its quite a from Kyoto and we might not have time even if staying overnight.
Sooo Kayabuki No Sato was suggested as alternative.
Looking at the transportation options I feel like I want to rent a car instead.
Which rent a car shop would be best to get to the village without driving in Kyoto or other major towns?
