Itinerary Help Osaka->Kyoto->Tokyo

Hi All,
I am hoping some of you may be able to give us a bit of a reality check. We are going to Japan for 14 days, the later 5 run into golden week, we are land locked, and cannot change our dates as I am starting a new job and using time off between for this trip.

One issue we’ve run into, is that we have very little planned for Kyoto anymore, as we had intended a full day for the Nintendo museum which was slated to open in February but has now been delayed to June, on top of that the new rules around geisha sighting is also eating away at our itinerary. My fiancé and I are hoping for some ideas about things you’d recommend in any of these cities but especially Kyoto.
Thank you
