I am doing a short essay for my Japanese class (I’m only on the second one at my school) and we have to write a bit about collections. One of the things we need to include is counter terms (まい ひき 本 etc.) but I wasn’t sure which one to use. I want to write my essay on my trading card collection, (things like magic the gathering cards and yugioh cards), would まい be the correct counter term? Could I say something like ひゃくまいあります？
