Who do you think is more fit for Japanese city life vs rural life?

I know this is a broad and probably stupid question, but I’ve been seriously thinking about becoming just another person who goes to tokyo from the rural areas of japan(i’ve lived here since I was a teen).

I’ve heard all the stuff like living expenses are higher, people are more “cold” and many interactions/relations tend to be a one-timey thing, etc. And I’ve also heard some people love living in the city but some just can’t stand it.

I don’t know which one I may turn out to be because I’ve never lived in a big city, ever. So to those who have lived in both types of areas in Japan, in your opinion, what kind of person do you think would adapt well to the city life vs not?
