Remitting $90K of my own money – necessary proof?

I’ve been reading up on remitting a large sum of money ($90,000 USD) to Japan and I’m hoping to open a Sony Bank account to do that. The money is my own from sales of mutual funds in 2023, and it’s currently sitting in my US bank account. I’d like to remit that now while I’m still a non-resident (edit: for tax purposes, i.e. <5 years), but what type of proof do I need? According to the Sony website it says a bank statement, but is that really enough? The only other thing I can think of would be the 2023 tax statement I received from my brokerage.
