Hi! My partner and I will be taking our first trip to Japan in the fall and just wanted some help with some things on arrival. We bought the plane tickets earlier but our plans just changed and we’ll be going straight to Osaka to meet family. We land at Haneda at 6AM on a Tuesday. We plan to take the train to Shinagawa then Shinkansen to Osaka. Would it be better to wait until after rush hour to take the trains? Is this okay or is flying to Osaka better?
We’ll have 2 checked bags (both combined dimensions are about 150cm) and I was trying to figure out if I’d be able to have JAL ABC or Yamato Transport hold 1 of the bags for 6 days then send it to our hotel in Tokyo when we get back?
