1. Sept 4 is right in the middle of the Burning Spirit tour, so guess who isn’t making it to the finals of this tournament (not like a New Japan team would ever be allowed to win an AEW title, but still).

2. Death Triangle vs United Empire should be nuts.

   Could easily see United Empire winning to face Bucks & Omega to set up that future match with Omega & Ospreay, **but also to set up PAC vs Ospreay for the All Atlantic belt**.

   Very excited!

4. The left side of the bracket is LOADED. Outside HOB, who gives a shit about the right side?

   Like DTri, Osprey, or Idolo’s teams should be tuning up Best Friends or the Trustbusters bullshit.

5. HoB will be in the finals easily on the right Wing. Left wing it makes sense for Death Triangle to make to the end due to the unfinished ongoing storyline for both HoB and Los Ingobenables but damn these are all capable teams

    Rd 2: Ospreay/Aussie Open in a 6-7 star classic that teases Kenny/Will, Best Friends with the suprising crowdpleasing upset.

    Final: Best Friends pull off upset, OC gets his pin over Ospreay that he came so close to at FD.

24. I get that we’re likely going to see Ospreay vs Omega in the second round there, but does it not bug anybody else that a non-AEW team is competing for this? Especially adding in that outside of Twitter it’s completely out of the blue, it just continues to feel like everything is so bloated and disjointed.

25. YB/Hangman v Dark Order (miracle, almost fluke run) for the final, ends with Hanger being conflicted and hesitating before the buckshot before hitting it for the win

32. Imagine being the geek that looks at this bracket, sees UE on the same side of the bracket as the Elite and thinking that TK brought in Aussie Open and Will Ospreay to lay down for Death Triangle.

    It seems like a waste to have Andrade, Lee and Rush to team together only to lose in the first round but I can’t see them beating the bucks and Omega. I guess they have a chance if it’s page or someone else instead of Omega

    Death Triangle, best friend’s, truth busters, and the dark order have 0 chance. United empire could be a surprise but they’ll probably lose to the bucks team for an angle.

35. I’ll say Hangman will end up on the Dark Order team. Then Omega returns and teams with The Bucks.

    The two teams meet in the finals where the Young Bucks turn their back on Omega leading to him getting beat by Page again.

    Seems like nothing has been happening at all in New Japan since Forbidden Door, right? Have there been any NJPW shows since then? If so, could someone make a top 50 matches list complete with Dailymotion links (can’t afford World rn)???
