Let’s share our Japanese immersion tracking profiles / social

Inspired by [this other thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/1btwq5n/share_your_current_japanese_learning_setup/) I thought it might be interesting to share what websites or apps we use to track our immersion and the content we consume in Japanese (or in general). There are various websites and apps used to track things like anime, games, books, etc and it’s always nice to find new people to connect with. Also it’s a good chance for some well deserved humble bragging for everyone 🙂

To be clear for the mods, I’m not affiliated to any of these platforms or websites.

I use a bunch of websites to remind myself what stuff I am consuming, what episodes of anime I’ve watched, what games I am playing, etc. I started doing that a couple of years ago because I would always fluctuate between different media and start new things without finishing old stuff and end up with a huge backlog of dropped games and shows. Ever since I started tracking my progress I’ve been much more focused and been enjoying stuff much more.

Some of the stuff I use:

– Lingotrack(immersion tracker): https://lingotrack.com/profile/Morg – I only started using this in 2024, before I wrote stuff like [this](https://morg.systems/Japanese-2022-in-Review) (2022) and [this](https://morg.systems/Japanese-2023-in-Review) (2023)

– Annict profile (anime tracker): https://annict.com/@Morg

– Bookmeter (manga): https://bookmeter.com/users/1282676/bookcases/12015533

– Bookmeter (books): https://bookmeter.com/users/1282676/bookcases/12015534

– Backloggd (videogames): https://www.backloggd.com/u/MorgJP/ (only started tracking games in 2023 and 2024, I have many more I haven’t tracked)

For manga I also have my own spreadsheet where I track new volumes being released and have a few scripts that send me monthly notifications on my reading progress and how many volumes I am missing from my collection. It looks something like [this](https://i.imgur.com/zfRjRyh.png) and [this](https://i.imgur.com/zqm7l2q.png). I also have a spreadsheet for the [videogames I play every year](https://i.imgur.com/m98iSKR.png) although I duplicate all of my entries into my backloggd profile. Backloggd is decent but it doesn’t support a lot of JP-only games or JP-only data, so I’ve been thinking of migrating to https://gamearchiveapp.com/ which is JP focused but I haven’t done it yet.
