Universal Studios Japan Without Express Passes

Hi,

I’m taking my kids to USJ tomorrow and wasn’t able to book any express passes as they were sold out almost immediately upon release for this date.
Hoping I can get some advice on the following strategy.

1. Rather than dragging my kids there to get in the queue super early, I was thinking I might go there myself at ~6:30am (opens at 8am), then have them join me in the queue shortly before 8. Any idea if that might be an issue?

2. Would love to do both SNW and Harry Potter on the same day. From what l’ve read, it doesn’t look like there are always times entries for Harry Potter. So, would it be best to get into the park early, book SNW timed entry tickets for the afternoon, then go to Harry Potter straight away?

3. Do the timed entry tickets for SNW get you timed entry to Koopa’s challenge? Or just for entry to the SNW area?
Any other tips for how best to manage USJ without express passes?

4. If you’re early enough in the morning, can you get into SNW without using your single timed entry ticket for the day?
