I’ll be travelling to Japan for the first time in May with family ( 4-5 ) total.
My sister and I have spent a lot of time researching places we’d like to see and came up with this dense schedule – we’re trying to squeeze as much of this trip as possible since we live countries away.

We are worried about the train ride from Kamakura to Takayama.
I understand it’s a \~5 hour train ride, but since there are about 4 stops, where can I find how often each line runs? Obviously a 2 hour train ride isn’t going to be repeating every 15 minutes so we’re afraid that any delays or mistakes we make along the way could result in a 3hr+ wait time.
Additionally if anyone has any notes on our itinerary I’d welcome the feedback.
