🔍 The DISHONESTY of this company is beyond comprehension! Let me shed light on the disturbing truth.

📆 On October 20, 2023, Gaba released a bulletin titled, “Revisions to Instructor Contracts and Remuneration,” claiming it as an announcement of changes. However, during Collective Bargaining, management cunningly asserted, “This is just a proposal,” despite the absence of the word “proposal” in the official announcement. This blatant dishonesty is indicative of the challenges we face.

The bulletin, poorly composed and riddled with ambiguity, left instructors with countless questions. Many turned to their school managers for clarification, as advised by the bulletin itself.

🗣️ Instructor Inquiry: “If I have a sudden seizure before work, unable to teach, and can’t notify the school, will I be fined?”
​
💬 Gaba’s Response: “Yes.”
​
🗣️ Instructor Inquiry: “How much will I be fined? Is it ¥5000 per lesson, or ¥5000 plus ¥1500, totaling ¥6500?”

💬 Gaba’s Response: “It’ll be ¥6500 per lesson.”

🌐 Outraged by this inhumane treatment, the union took a stand online. Our protest went VIRAL, garnering a million views and sparking conversations nationwide.

Gaba’s Response? A protest letter, claiming our information was incorrect. “The fine for missing lessons without notice is ¥5000, not ¥6500.” As if that somehow justifies their oppressive actions.
