Multiracial Japanese Families Interned During WWII

I my self am a mixed race American of strong Japanese descent! Many of my family were interned during WWII as many were considered Issei and Nisei. I did remember my grandfather mentioning that some of the interned Japanese families could be considered hapa (or mixed but he is from Hawaii and was only a kid), but I’m having a hard time finding historical references aside from a few familial anecdotes and vague mentions on some archives.gov articles. Just was curious if anyone knows much on the topic?
