but, wow, having a hard time with this railpass / no railpass decision. and an even harder time figuring out which website to use… I believe [this site](https://japanrailpass.net/en/purchase/price/) is the ‘official’ one that will let me use the mobile app?
9-11 day trip (no return booked yet, but do have a dummy reservation for immigration), and debating picking up a 7 day pass for when we leave Tokyo.
Currently contemplating:
* Tokyo – Osaka (home base for 2-3 days, visit Nara maybe)
* Osaka – Hiroshima RT day trip
* Osaka – Kyoto (local)
* Kyoto – Tokyo
All of this travel would be within ~5 days, and then while back in Tokyo, we’re debating some day trips (Ibaraki + hitachi seaside on ~4/16). I ***think*** we’d be just barely break-even for the major legs of our trip. I am not sure if JR pass covers the day trip routes we’re debating. Anything I’m missing?
