Thoughts On Tokyo International University Study Abroad and its Ikebukuro Campus??

Hello! Nothing is decided yet but I am currently considering studying abroad in Japan for a semester. One of the options I was recommended by an adviser was Tokyo International University because they seem to provide a lot of support and resources for foreign students. In deciding whether this university would be a good fit for me I looked up the campus on Google Earth and I found it to be really nice!

Today I was looking at the study abroad site again imagining what my time at this university could look like and I find in small font that the university is located in Ikebukuro. The campus I looked at before was in Kawagoe. I guess that was my mistake because when I searched the campus up on Google Earth I just typed in the name of the university and not an exact address or anything like that. Though I still think it is weird that the campus in Ikebukuro does not appear as an option for me when typing in “Tokyo Intentional University”. Hitting enter I was able to see the actual campus I would potentially be attending, but I felt as if it had a completely different feel from the campus I saw before. In addition, I saw that there were a lot of recent one star reviews for this campus. So, I am not exactly sure what to think about it.

It seems that this campus is fairly new so I am not finding much information about people’s experience here. For this reason, I wanted to ask anyone who attends Tokyo International University’s Ikebukuro campus what their experience is like there? Or if anyone has visited both campuses, what has been your impression of both? For any current students, what has been your general experience at Tokyo International University?

Thank you!
