Is it worth it to shift to IT?

I am currently working for 7 yrs in this traditional Japanese company.
I can no longer see myself growing in my company.

So, I am looking for a new job. Tbh, I don’t really know what I want to do in life lol

I have considered a lot of times to shift to IT to test if it is the one that will give me purpose in life.

So, I got an offer from this small company which will train you to become a software engr from zero.
Sounds good but the pay cut really hurts.

For context, in my current company:
– Annual: 4.5m (they pay for my housing and utilities 100%, so I would say I get roughly 5.5m for shouldering those?)
– very little OT (10hrs / mo.)
– I have to work 1 Saturday per month
– permanent
– good people, but it is male-dominated company wherein women are only here to serve tea to the guests kinda company haha
– I cannot say no to job relocations

The offer:
-Monthly: 200k/mo (prolly around 160k net?? Waiting for the docs. No housing allowance)
-Under contract for 6mos wherein they will train me to learn C+ and Java. I was told that if I don’t get to pass it in 6 mos, I wont be able to become a permanent
-I might have to move to Kagawa Prefecture (I am from Osaka)

Am I crazy if I would bite this offer??
Or just get a new job in my current industry even though I know I am not having fun in this field?
Or transition is possible, just find a different company that has better offer?

Btw,I am in my late 20s.
