I will be moving to Tokyo in a few months as an Intra-company transfer to our parent Japanese company. My CoE is already in process. The plan is for my wife to move with me, but no paerwork has started on thst as of yet. Red flag maybe?
I need guidance on what can my wife do for work if she is here on a Spouse(?) visa. She is a licensed doctor in our home country. I understand that she won’t be able to practice clinical medicine without a license and language proficiency, so what other options she has and also if she is even legally allowed to work?
Our language skills are nil, but we are planning to address that by taking a language course before moving.
Any help on this will be appreciated.
