My friends and I are doing a small trip to Oshima next week, however I’m still confused on some details concerning taking the large passenger ferry and I’d appreciate insight from those who’ve gone through the same process or know of it.
We reserved tickets online, but to buy them we have to go to the ticket booth at the port, correct? And if so, is that something we can do in the hours leading up to boarding the ferry or should we go to the port any time this week before then?
How early might you suggest getting to the port? If boarding opens at 10:00 I would say 8:30 but if that’s too early or too late because of the amount of people (also it’s March so I think it’s still off season) I’d understand.
I think that’s about it for questions but if you have any tips or easy mistakes one might make, please enlighten me 🙂
