The mosquitos can be intense. Luckily don’t get them in the apartment but if I chill in a park or by the water with skin showing, I get some nasty bites that last almost a week. Makes me want to take a ムヒ shower they can get so itchy and even a bit painful.
Some other things to look out for: dust mites give reactions to some people, and if you live out in the country or in an hold house maybe mukade.
Buyo maybe? I think it’s called black-fly in English
Could be “dani” (mites, bed bugs).
Hard to say without knowing how the bite looks like or where they bite you (I mean where in your body). Mukade only bite if disturbed (don’t proactively attack) and their bite is very painful. There are also some spiders which can bite if disturbed.
Lots of complaints by foreigners are about the body’s reactions to the bites (i.e., itching) rather than the bites themselves…
Try the topical “muhi” and also the pills “N-acetyl cysteine” or “glutathione”, both available from iHerb as OTC supplements. Vitamin C and multi-vitamins may help as well.

Mukade? Bite is like a painful welt with 2 holes.
