Just wanted to thank you for doing these. It’s pretty hard to find a running table anywhere, even on NJPWs site
Someone explain this to me: Isn’t JONAH out? Let’s assume he beats Fale. He’d have 8 points and the tie breaker over Okada. But if Okada loses, that would mean Archer would have 8 points and the tie breaker over JONAH. And if Okada wins or draws, he’ll win the block. I expected commentary to mention that, but they didn’t.
Yujiro being ahead in the D Block is wild
I’m pulling for that 7-way tie in D-Block.
Just wanted to say thanks for doing these. I’ve been using it to keep track of standings and keep friends informed of what’s going on since they don’t watch but like hearing updates. Very well put together!
I’m still so confused with who wins between Tama and Jay, I really have no clue. On one hand I think Naito wins it all so Okada can defeat Jay in the semi-final, lose against Naito and still have a reason to challenge at Wrestle Kingdom night 1. However, does Jay fall to Taichi and they completely break Tama’s revenge by having White win in the final night? Lots of questions, if Jay loses to Taichi i’m going to guses he’s winning it all because Tama wouldn’t have won against GoK if he was also going to win against Jay, it’s just bad math.
Anyway, now back to the real deal. D block tie breaker dream still alive baby.
On another note, if the D block is gonna go the way I think it’s going to go I have Ospreay finishing in the penultimate spot so maybe, just maybe, Shingo ain’t winning.
Hey is there a potential 4 way tie in the C block? With Goto, Tana and Naito winning to get 8 points and ZSJ loses a stay on 8.
Every year I root for Yano. I will never stop either.
My poor Kenta, I refuse to give up hope, G1 33 is Kentas year!
How can Goto win the block? ZSJ loses and Goto wins, puts them on level points with the ZSJ tiebreaker.
New Japan should sign Jonah to a contract, Jesus the big man can go. I remember seeing him in NXT and I was impressed with what he could do. He looks like he put on some muscle and I’m gonna guess sense he’s the leader of TMDK stable? I also think there’s some 5 star worthy matches that have already happened. Jeff Cobb vs Okada, Will Ospreay vs Shingo Takagi, Tetsuya Naito vs EVIL, Jeff Cobb vs Jonah.
So, what if 2 guys of the same block draw with the highest score and there are no matches left?
Tiebreaker? And then there is winner A vs Winner B? And the winner of both faces winner of C vs winner of D? How does the way to the finals work?
The difference between the tournament Tom Lawlor is having on the stat sheet and the tournament he’s having in the ring and the backstage promo spot is absolutely wild.
