Hi, we have a family friend visiting Japan this Summer, and the group includes parents and three kids. We understand that the “mobile Suica” can top up with the foreign credit card via Apple Pay (is there other way?), but if you have to load the physical card, CASH is the only way? Pasmo still hasn’t restarted with the foreign credit card funding?
Are we correct?
Naturally, the parents would have their smartphones so they can download mobile Suica, but the kids (elementary) would need the physical cards which needs to be periodically loaded with Cash. We want to prep the parents in coming months so they can navigate Japan without purchasing paper tickets every single ride (for the entire family).
