Coming to Kadena soon and the way I see it is I am a guest in a different country who should act like one so I thought it only made sense to learn Japanese. I’ve only starting trying to learn Hiragana (I’m awful at it) and I’m trying to watch or interact with more Japanese media to get a understanding of the speech patterns a bit more and get use to the fast speaking. I don’t want to make an ass of myself
Edit: Thanks for the motivation, I think I’m gonna just take a full dive into trying to learn the Language, I’ll only it better at it once I get there and I’m surrounded by it.
