Hello everyone.
So we are a group of 5 leaving for Japan in 3-4 weeks(Golden week).
Aside from the completed(?) itinerary we have prepared a while ago, I mostly want to ask what are the essential steps someone have to make upon landing?
I already have a few in mind of course:
1) Because eSim is not compatible to our phones, we will buy a japanese sim(for data only) upon landing instead of a pocket wifi.
2) I will use my revolut card for my trip and I plan to withdraw Yen too to any ATM it is accepted.
3) Plan to buy a Welcome Suica card and fill it with Yen for our transportation in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
4) The only things we have prebooked so far are USJ tickets and Shibuya Sky tickets.
Don’t know if a Shinkasen ticket is a must for pre-booking since they have a lot of trains every few minutes(?)
5) I don’t know if we have to buy plug adaptors beforehand, or could we have some there.
Do you think we have forgotten any musts??
