I’m scheduled to stay in Matsumoto to see the Matsumoto Castle next weekend. Then I plan to go over to Ueda to see the gardens there. It’s hard to follow the cherry blossom schedule and it seems that it suddenly got later in a lot of places after a cold March.

Is this a good choice or should I cancel my hotel (actually a very cheap hostel) and go somewhere else?
I obsessively follow the weather and it’s looking slightly less rainy in Matsumoto than Tokyo.
