Itinerary Check – Couple’s first time to Japan

My fiance and I will be travelling from South Africa to Japan for 20 day holiday. It’ll be our first time, and to say we’re excited is an understatement!

Our interests are quite diverse and we’d like to explore:

* Nightlife (Bars & Nightclubs)
* Historical Sites Museums Restaurants
* coffee shops & markets (Big Foodies)
* A bit of nature (forest walks, beaches)

We’re still in the process of carving out the itinerary, and we’d really appreciate some advice on our rough draft from the following perspectives:

**-Destinations:** Is this a diverse enough exploration of Japan? And will it serve the above interests?
**-Time in destinations:** Too much or too little allocated to any particular destination? (We travelled Europe a couple years ago, spending 2-3 days per city and the whole trip felt a bit rushed)
**-Itinerary flow:** Does the flow of destinations make sense from a travelling point of view?

Any feedback would be hugely appreciated!
