So I just received my COE in the mail, and uh… The photo has rainbow vertical lines all throughout it? The PDF scan they emailed me had the same thing and I thought it was just because of how it was scanned, but the physical copy is like that too. You can still see my face and tell that it’s me for identification purposes, and apparently it’s the photo that you bring to the embassy that’s put on your visa, but I’m still worried. Would this even be accepted at the embassy?

The printers they use for the COEs arent all that good, and often will hit janky spells and make everything have stripes or whatnot, not just on one COE but on hundreds of them in a batch. unless the original photo you submitted was like that its probably not to worry.
