Hello everyone,
I recently had to decline from moving forward with my application from one ALT company because they would not accept digital transcripts for the COE, as my school has now officially stopped issuing hardcopies (they were willing to take my physical diploma over the mail, but I wasn’t willing to take the risk of having my diploma lost).
I’m applying to Borderlink now and I’m wondering if I’ll face the same issue when I get past the initial screening. Do all ALT companies only accept physical transcripts for the COE? Are the applications for eikawas any different/easier? What sort of other alternatives should I look into (like coming to Japan first on a student visa at a language school)?
