Is GENKI JACS worth it? I am planning to join the academy but I am not really sure about it after seeing the mixed reviews on Reddit. I intend to take the one year course/ the 18 month course and know the hiragana and katana script.
About me: I live in Fukuoka, did my Masters in Kyushu University and currently am working here. Now, i intend to study Japanese for a year or more full time starting October 2024/ earlier. (P.S. I do not intend to quit my job. My plan is continue working part time with them).
I do want to rush into learning Japanese. I intend to take it slow and once I get a grasp on the language after a year or 18 months, I will plan the next course of action.
My other concern is if I can study full time on a work-visa while working part-time with my office? I am not sure if thats possible, if not I may have to convert to a Student Visa.
