I’m a frontend developer and I’d say I’m quite good at my job. I am wondering what’s the average salary for Frontend Developer considering I’m paid around 450,000 yen a month before taxes. my salary was increased after a great good year of performance according to the management. But it seems like the appraisals are going to be once a year and not by that much. Last year my salary was 375k, and this year they added 50k monthly as appraisal.
I’m very good with changing design to code plus can work with react/angular frameworks.
I’m wondering if there are better opportunities or what’s the upper limit ?
PS: I’m a self learned dev and have bachelor in Business. I have a Engineer/Specialist in Humanities visa.
