Hello all!
I’m about to get my first credit card for which I plan primarily to use for car rentals (times car share) – is there any card that might be available to a foreigner that offers points or benefits to car rental schemes? Any recommendations? (I’m new to credit cards period, but as I’ve learned Japan loves them and there comes a point where it’s a necessity).
I have a bank account with Japan Post if that helps.

Pocket Card has I think a 10% discount on Times Car and a 5% on a couple of others. (Though when I rented with Orix recently they made it clear that they give out a 5% discount for pretty much anything, so not a huge benefit). You can apply for their Famipay T Card from the Famipay app, that’s what I did, although no guarantees it’s their best card or anything.
Why tf are good questions like these being downvoted. Swear I hate all these Japanese subreddits, always see that happening
