Edit: I might have figured it out. It seems like I’ve actually been using one of the knock off Anki apps instead, and after checking the FAQ on that app’s site, I guess I can see how/why the cards got deleted. I don’t think I’ll be able to retreive them though, which is a bummer.

I updated Anki this morning before leaving for work, same as any other time when there was an update available (I use the app on my iPhone).
30 minutes later I’m here ready to study, but it had logged me out, which it’s never done before. I logged in but then see it messed with all of my decks!
Every single one has a cloud mark next to it, which gives me the option to download them, but my scores are gone. And the one I made most recently is missing like 60 cards from it. Any idea on how to fix it / retrieve my missing cards? Or am I just screwed and need to start over again?

oh god i had the exact same experience! fuck ankiapp i wish i could export all my decks into the actual anki
