I’ve read plenty of posts concerning this topic and yet I’m still a bit uninformed.
I want to book a shinkansen from Kyoto to Tokyo on the 28th of April. Which is first day of Golden Week, so I do believe it is necessary to book in advance.
I can buy through Klook but I do want to be sure me and my partner will be able to sit together and I’ve read mixed reviews about that here.
Smart EX app is not available in Belgium/Europe and the website sign up is also not accepting any of my Visa or Mastercards.
I read Navitime is also an option but I can’t figure out if we will be able to reserve a specific seat up front or not.
So any guidance or suggestions are welcome!
I just want to book the 07:54 train from Kyoto to Tokyo on the 28th of April and have 2 seats next to each other reserved up front. What would be the best way to do this?
