My head of dept. is telling me that any research I do about education will be counted as miscellaneous rather than as an academic paper. I teach content subjects in an English program HOD says I need to “research my field” even though I have numerous papers related to education from graduate school.
IMO, this is obstruction of research and academic harassment but he insists it is legitimate for him to do so. My union says it’s a dept. matter. Am up for recommendations for lawyers well versed in academic harassment as well.
