**Day 6 (20 March)**

Started late today. Submitted my luggage to be delivered at the hotel from Osaka for 4300 yen(Cheap) by hotel staff. Took bullet train from Shin Osaka to Tokyo station.

Lunch T’s Tan Tan Tokyo station – Given the hype, decided to give a try to main branch. Waited for about 25 minutes in queue. Ordered spicier ramen this time and it was average at best.

Wanted to visit Asakusa again to get some photos with Kimono but it started to rain. We cancelled that plan after reaching asakusa station.

Headed to Harajuku street next which seemed to have closed, we decided to go to Harajuku street and try out happy pan cake.

Late Lunch [Happy Pan cake](https://www.tripadvisor.in/Restaurant_Review-g1066456-d9743549-Reviews-A_Happy_Pancake_Omotesando-Shibuya_Tokyo_Tokyo_Prefecture_Kanto.html) \- Technically eggetarian, this was definitely the best dessert we had. Pancake is very different from what we have in india, both tasty but in a different way. Highly recommended.

Early Dinner [Vegan Bistro Jangara](https://www.happycow.net/reviews/vegan-bistro-jangara-tokyo-228946) \- This was our favourite ramen place in Tokyo. We had Vegan Karabon, Gyoza and Juju grill. Food was spicy and hit our indian taste buds. Highly recommended.

Checked in to [Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nishi Shinjuku](https://www.tripadvisor.in/Hotel_Review-g14133673-d15564204-Reviews-Daiwa_Roynet_Hotel_Nishi_Shinjuku-Nishishinjuku_Shinjuku_Tokyo_Tokyo_Prefecture_Kan.html) at 8 pm. Checkin was quick and easy. Staff spoke english well. We requested them to provide us packed or early breakfast so that we could take that to disneyland the next day but were denied.

This was a bummer as we had paid around 4000 yen extra per day and they did not accommodate us for a missed breakfast. Opened Haldiram’s ready to eat for late dinner.

**Day 7 (21 March) DisneySea**

Having visited USJ already, I was wondering if we should go to disney or not. Booked tickets in the morning on klook.

I had incorrectly read the opening timing to be 8:30 am and we woke up at 5 am to be there at the gates by 7:15 am. Found at opening time was 9 am during our ride and wondered if we were going early. Oh boy! I was so wrong. There were about 2k people at disneyland and at least 1500 at disneysea. Entry started at 8:45 sharp and we were in by 9:05 am. Once again we were allowed to take our snacks in.

9:08 [Earthquake](https://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/15205433#:~:text=A%20strong%20earthquake%20originating%20in,and%20delaying%20several%20train%20lines)

Bought premier access for – 1. Journey to the center of earth 2. Soaring Fantastic flight

Booked Priority Pass for 1. 20,000 league under the sea 2. Nemo and Friends the SeaRider

Here are the rides and my ratings

1. Tower of terror 9:20 am – 75 mins wait | 7/10
2. 20,000 league under the sea 11 am(PP) – 5 min wait | 6/10
3. Soaring Fantastic Flight – 12:30 pm(PA) – 5 mins wait | 15/10

5. Aquatopia – 2:30 pm – 45 mins wait | 5/10
6. Nemo and Friends the SeaRider(PA) – 0 mins wait time | 8/10

Lunch Zambini Brother’s Ristorante – We brought T’s Tan Tan Noodle cups with us that were heated by restaurant for us. Along with that we got ourself a Long pizza and little green man. Both the items from the restaurant were okayish.

Our legs were hurting by 4pm and queues for all other rides were more than 120 minutes, so we decided to head back to hotel.

We explore kabukicho area at night. It was all crowded but we were too exhausted from our trip that we headed back after dinner.

Dinner [Kakekomi Gyoza](https://www.kakekomi-gyoza.com/) \- this was our first izakaya experience. They had a separate gyoza menu for vegans. We tried their fried, mustard & honey and vegetable gyozas. All were good along with their highballs. Highly recommended

**Day 8 (22 March)** We reserved this day for shopping and repeating experiences that we liked. We visited shibuya and shinjuku. Breakfast at the hotel Lunch Vegan Bistro Jangara Dinner Kakekomi Gyoza

**Day 9 (23 March)** Had a 10:30 am flight from Haneda back to Delhi. Grabbed breakfast the moment hotel let us in the restaurant. Reached airport by 8:30 am and got our luggage checked in. Spent leftover currency and forex card funds at 7/11 in airport and Uniqlo. Flight back was comfortable and food was above average. Because we were vegetarians they did not serve us hagen daz ice creams but a ice lolly in cup. Otherwise it was money well spent on direct flights.

Other tips

* Carry more ready to eat that are available in cups. e.g. MTR ready to eat, cup noodles, Bhelpuri mix, fafda and so on. One has to walk on average 15 kms a day and these are easy to eat when you are in a queue and which is very often. Hot water dispensers were available at all convenience stores which we used to prepare these ready to eat,
* There are hardly any vegetarian items at convenience stores. You can have bakery items if you are eggetarian.
* Credit cards were acceptable everywhere, prefer using them over cash. Otherwise you will have to working towards changing coins.
* Reach 1.5 hours early at amusement parks, no other way.
* We slept for less than 4 hours at night because of schedule but we made sure to visit our hotel mid-day to catch up on sleep.
