What’s the used bike market like in Japan? Looking for a couple bikes with enough gearing to crank up hills. I checked out craigslist, it seemed reasonable, but the locations were all major areas, and I’m gonna be living in Shizuoka.
Anybody bring their bike? How much hassle was that?

since you need to register the bike, probably having receipt here would make it easier. (although I heard many foreigners dont register road bike but I wouldn’t recommend that).
