Insurance, SIM and bank

Hi! I’ll be moving to tokyo for six months. I’m totally stumped on a few points! First, the most favourable value for using my bank card there (currently Lloyds uk). Second, that all of the SIM cards i can seem to find are only for two weeks of data. Third, travel insurance for that length of time is hard to secure.
Any help would be appreciated!!

  1. 1. What? Can you elaborate upon exactly what you’re asking here?

    2. Mobal and Sakura both offer easy-to-receive monthly sim cards for foreigners and have English support.

    3. You’re here long enough to have a zairyu card, meaning you’ll have to sign up for the mandatory Japanese national health insurance. If you’re worried about non-health related insurance some companies from your home nation (if you’re from the US, Canada, or the UK) will offer long-term travel insurance. What are you specifically looking to insure?
