Mostly the title. I have a 4K American TV that I’m trying to hook up to be able to receive 4K Japanese broadcasts. I’ve seen plenty of tuners that include a slot for the B-cas card, however these seem to not be 4K capable. Do tuners that are 4K capable require a B-cas card to allow Japanese programming on American TVs? All the 4K tuners I’ve seen online don’t seem to have a slot for one. Will be going to Yamada Denki later today to peruse what they have.
