Folks,
I am on HSP here for last 2 yrs and now my wife is going to receive an offer by the same Japanese firm as I work for. My wife was working for the overseas branch till now while residing in Japan and now due to tax reasons, this offer is going to come from the Japanese branch.
Need your advice on pros and cons of Designated activities visa (no. 33) vs getting a work visa. AFAIK designated activities is easier to obtain (1 month) being linked with my HSP vs Work visa (3 months).
I do want to the visa quickly, and the org has agreed to Designated activities. however I’ve heard that other prospective employers find it harder to understand Designated Activities vs Work visa. Is it True? Any suggestions are welcome
