I’ve been known to NJPW since 2015 and been watching religiously since 2019… which was 5 years ago 💀
I see a lot of negative opinions on the company lately but i don’t agree with most of it and I’m wondering if I’m crazy or people are just too quick to hate different things?
When naito won the belt, i saw a few posts that expected a boring-esque reign
But with the addition of SHO shocking the world and winning the Jr. Heavyweight title we had a great match between the two and SHO has come out this year at full force and just feels like such a breath of fresh air.
David Finlay has won me over as an act and the leader of BC. Then guys like TJP, Gabe Kidd, and Callum Newman have all had a great year so far with the gap that will ospreay left.
Matt Riddle and Nic Nemeth aren’t my favourites but at least they came to NJPW and not AEW (mentioning this as everyone complains that NJPW can’t compete with AEW)
Then you have everything that R3M + Bald yuya is doing and it’s all good stuff.
Just thought we could talk about the positives about NJPW for once.
