1. They told us about this sometime after the New Year.

   They’ll give us pamphlets and documents about the changes. In the meantime, they’ve been answering our questions diligently, which is assuring.

2. I got mine already but I am a new hire. I imagine all the employees in my company have been added by now.

6. Currently fighting my dispatch to get on it. Hello work and pension office involved.

7. I heard you pay more with Shakai Hoken than NHI + pension. IS this true?

8. I know a city’s worth of workers being told “your hours for the year don’t meet the minimum requirement to get shakai hoken”. But full-time employees get two bonuses where each bonus is 2.5 times their paycheck. 😀

   Everyone who should be enrolled already is.

10. Check into the union Tozen. They are doing good stuff in Japan For important worker’s rights in regard to issues like this.

11. Does this apply to JET employees? As far as I know, we will get NHI. Unless that will change in October?
