Hey everyone,
I’ll be in Kanazawa for a few days, and I’m wondering if it’s worth taking a day trip to see either Eihei-ji or Echizen Daibutsu (doing both seems a bit of a stretch)? It’s around a 2h30 ride one-way.
Are those temples worth it? Which one would you recommend most? Echizen Daibutsu seems gorgeous and different from what l’ve seen so far, but Eihei-ji looks very nice too.
I’ll be travelling solo and have no license, so l’ll be relying on public transportation.
